Manx Grand Prix Motorcycle Tours

The chance to explore the islands 37.73 mile racing circuit!

Ride the legendary Isle of Man Mountain Course during the Manx GP & Classic TT – with expert guides, Benelli motorcycles, and unforgettable views.

Ride in the Tyre Tracks of Legends!

The motorcycle guided tours run throughout the Manx GP and Classic TT, but what you experience will depend on whether the roads are open to the public or closed for racing. Either way, you’re in for something special.

When the roads are open – TT Lap Experience

If the roads are open to the public, you’ll ride the full 37.73-mile course on a Benelli motorcycle, led by experienced guides. We’ll take it at a steady pace, stopping at iconic sections like Ballaugh Bridge and The Bungalow. The full loop usually takes 2–3 hours, depending on traffic and how many stories we stop to share.

When the roads are closed – Ride & Spectate Experience

When racing or practice is taking place, the course is closed – but that doesn’t mean the tour stops. Quite the opposite. We’ll take you on two wheels to a series of handpicked viewing points where you can get up close to the action. You’ll still get to ride, but the focus shifts to spectating – taking in the roar, the speed, and the atmosphere from the roadside.

All tours start and finish at St Matthew’s Church, North Quay, Douglas. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 7 riders (each welcome to bring a pillion) and two guides, who may also carry pillion passengers. You’ll be on one of our fully insured Benelli motorcycles, ready for whatever the day brings. We’ll let you know in advance what type of tour is running that day, based on the racing schedule.

You must remember to bring with you your licence. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions before booking.

Frequently asked questions:

Do I need a motorcycle licence to take part?

Riders must hold a full or A2 motorcycle licence and be confident riding for 2–3 hours at a moderate pace on open roads. A licence is not required for pillion passengers, but they should be comfortable riding as a passenger for the duration of the tour.

Is this a high-speed lap?

No – the ride is strictly within legal speed limits. It’s about the atmosphere, scenery, and stories.

What should I bring?

Your motorcycle licence (and passport if international), suitable riding gear (unless hiring), and a camera or GoPro if you want to capture the memories.

Is there a Safety briefing?

Yes – we start each tour with a full briefing covering the route, road safety, and expectations.

What happens in bad weather?

We’ll ride in most conditions, but safety comes first. If it’s too dangerous, we’ll reschedule.
