Day 1: Exploring the Solway Coast and North Lakes
Tuesday, 19th May marks the first day on two wheels. The tour kicks off at 9 am with gear selection, a safety briefing, and allocation of your Benelli motorcycle. After a gentle introduction to the machines, you’ll set off along the serene Solway Coast, a landscape of sweeping sea views and tranquil beaches. The route offers a perfect mix of gentle curves and open stretches, ideal for getting acquainted with your bike while soaking in the scenery. Along the way, stop at cozy cafes serving homemade cakes and experience the warmth of Cumbrian hospitality. By midday, the ride takes you inland into the North Lakes, where roads twist through forests and open onto panoramic vistas. Lunch is enjoyed at a local eatery before the afternoon’s journey winds between sparkling lakes, stone-walled valleys, and historic market towns. By late afternoon, you’ll return to your accommodation, leaving time to relax, explore the local area, or enjoy a pint in a traditional pub.
Day 2: The Legendary Lake District Passes
Wednesday, 20th May delivers perhaps the most exhilarating ride of your Lake District adventure: a loop through seven of the region’s most iconic mountain passes. The day is filled with thrilling twists and turns, punctuated by ample stops for photos, refreshments, and moments to soak in the wild, untamed beauty of the fells. By evening, you’ll return to your accommodation tired but invigorated, with unforgettable stories to share and bonds forged over a day of shared adventure.
Day 3: South Lakes and Ferry to the Isle of Man
Thursday, 21st May is a day of transition and fresh excitement awaits. Your journey takes you south through rolling hills and lush farmland, tracing the edges of Windermere and Coniston Water before arriving at Heysham Ferry Port. After a hearty lunch, you’ll board the ferry for a late afternoon crossing to Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man.
As the mainland fades from view, anticipation builds—you’re about to ride on hallowed ground for motorcycle enthusiasts. Upon arrival, check into your chosen accommodation and enjoy an evening at leisure. Take a stroll along Douglas Promenade or indulge in local cuisine at a charming seaside bistro.
Day 4: The Isle of Man Unveiled
Friday, 22nd May – Today is dedicated to uncovering the unique character of the Isle of Man. A guided ride will take you through the island’s varied geography: rugged coastlines, lush glens, and ancient castles. Highlights include iconic sites such as Peel Castle, the Laxey Wheel, and the charming villages that dot the landscape.
For motorcyclists, the Isle of Man’s roads are a dream—smooth, flowing, and often blissfully quiet. Along the way, pause at scenic overlooks where the Irish Sea shimmers in the sunlight, offering picture-perfect moments and a sense of serenity that stays with you long after the ride.
Day 5: Riding the Isle of Man TT Course
Saturday, 23rd May – Today delivers the ultimate motorcycling experience: a guided tour of the world-famous 37¾-mile Isle of Man TT course. Ride in the tyre tracks of legends, feeling the pulse of history as you sweep through iconic sections such as the Goose Neck and conquer the mountain.
Photo stops include the Joey Dunlop statue on the mountain—a tribute to the greatest TT rider—and the atmospheric Victory Café, where the walls are lined with memorabilia celebrating the race’s heritage. Along the way, your guides will share captivating stories of the TT’s rich history, its heroes, and the unique culture that surrounds this extraordinary event.
Day 6: The Calf of Man and TT Classic Races
Sunday, 24th May – The finale of your adventure takes you to the southernmost tip of the island, the Calf of Man, a haven of wildlife and natural beauty. From here, the tour concludes at the Billown Circuit, where the Pre-TT Classic Road Races are in full swing.
Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of classic racing motorcycles, with over 115 entries across categories ranging from 250cc to unlimited and sidecars—a thrilling and fitting climax to your Isle of Man motorcycle odyssey.
After watching some of the pre-TT Classic Road Races, you can choose to return home by boat, plane or continue your adventure on the Isle of Man into practice and race week for the main TT event.
