VLM Airlines commenced operations in May 1993 with a scheduled non-stop service between Antwerp and London City Airport. Today, some 15 years on, VLM Airlines offers more flights from London City Airport than any other carrier, with regular weekday services to the Isle of Man, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Jersey, Luxembourg, Manchester and Rotterdam, and a wide choice of weekend flights too.
In 2007 VLM Airlines reported its tenth consecutive year of profitability. The airline currently employs 450 people, and carried over 745,000 passengers in 2007.
VLM also offer daily flights from Rotterdam to Hamburg and
direct flights every weekday from Antwerp and Rotterdam to Manchester. During the summer season, VLM fly from Rotterdam to the Channel Islands and offer charter flights to a wide variety of destinations within Europe.
VLM fly to the Isle of Man once daily from London City
